ETHIOPIA

The A.Scott Foundation has supported The African Promise from its inception to the program launch.

The African Promise (TAP) is a four-week long enrichment program designed to challenge and motivate young Ethiopian students in Yeka Kifle Ketema, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia by creating a positive learning environment where they build their English language skills and learn about democratic ethics and leadership, all while furthering their computer literacy.  This program thus offers a greater level of independence to those who are in need, and can vastly increase their quality of life and future successes.

The Computer Literacy program prepares the students for life and work in an evermore technology-driven world.

The Motivational component will serve to encourage students to not only dream big but also believe that their dreams are achievable

Through Education and the support network of the TAP program the students can achieve their dreams. The academic curriculum will be the vehicle that connects all these different components together to offer students a dynamic, well-rounded program.
