 November 2011: Teyen Kung begins fundraising for Educational Aid and Congenital Heart ________________ _  Disease Programs for Year 2012 - 2013.The Educational Aid Program is targeted to continue
 support for approximantely 10 students, and the Congenital Heart Disease Program targets aid for  2-3 infants.

 December 2011: Former Hamtramck College Prep Program alumni give talks to students on  what to expect your first year of college. Due to high demand a Saturday tutoring day is added to  the weekly schedule. "Preparing Mentally for the ACT" - a workshop of strategies on setting,  visualizing, and achieving success on the ACT.

 November 2011: Hamtramck College Prep Program does "Math Drills" - a workshop focusing on  intensive math overview.

 November 2011: MIA Recovery Mission to the Republic of Kiribati. The water mission focuses on  the Battle of Tarawa. The Team searches for amphibious assault vehicles in the waters north of  the main island.

 October 2011: Teyen Kung and 3 other volunteers/donors travel to China to visit the Educational  Aid and the Congenital Heart Disease Programs. They met with students and orphans who  received aid from the A. Scott Foundation and its local in-country partners.

 October 2011: Membership in the Hamtramck College Prep Program is expanded to  accommodate demand. Math section of the ACT started along with the "Intro to Strategies"- a  workshop that focusing on testing strategies and tricks to scoring higher. Program Director Al  Alsaidy meets with Hamtramck High School students during a University of Michigan campus tour.

 October 2011: MIA Recovery Mission to the Republic of Kiribati. Land mission focuses on the  Battle of Tarawa searching for mass graves.

 September 2011: College Prep Program kicks off in Hamtramck School! The first workshop is  "Debunking the ACT: Introduction"- which gives students a fresh view of the ACT and explains the  expectations of the program.

 June 2011: MIA Recovery Mission travels to Belgium and Germany to survey and search for  human remains from the historic Battle of the Bulge.

 May 2011: MIA Recovery Team conducts a research mission in Washington DC at the National  Archives. They look for aerial photography relating to the Battle of the Bulge.

 January 2011: MIA Recovery Mission to the Republic of Palau. The mission objective is to search  for a B-24 bomber in the waters off the south end of the island.

 January 6, 2011: Detroit Free Press releases an article about the Hamtramck, Michigan College- prep Program with student volunteers from the University of Michigan.  "U of M Students help  prepare Hamtramck teens for college" by Lori Higgins.
